Job Responsibilities:
The Siebel Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the successful end-to-end delivery of Oracle Siebel CRM initiatives, ensuring projects and enhancements are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in alignment with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and organizational priorities. This role provides overall leadership, governance, coordination, and oversight across all phases of Siebel solution delivery, including planning, development, integration, testing, deployment, and transition to support operations.
The Siebel Delivery Manager serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, program leadership, technical teams, vendors, and support organizations to ensure effective collaboration, risk management, and execution of high-quality CRM solutions. The role requires strong leadership, project delivery expertise, stakeholder management skills, and experience managing complex enterprise application initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of Siebel application projects and enhancements, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, deployment, and closure.
- Manage multiple concurrent Siebel initiatives while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals, technical standards, and program priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership regarding Siebel delivery activities and project status.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Siebel architects, developers, QA/testing teams, infrastructure teams, database administrators, integration partners, and operational support teams.
- Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, SDLC processes, governance standards, quality controls, and change management procedures.
- Monitor and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, implementing proactive mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Facilitate requirements discussions, project status meetings, stakeholder communications, and executive-level reporting.
- Oversee vendor and contractor performance, deliverables, and contractual commitments related to Siebel initiatives.
- Ensure successful integration of Siebel solutions with internal and external enterprise systems and applications.
- Coordinate testing activities, defect resolution, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and production release activities.
- Manage change requests and ensure alignment between evolving business requirements and approved project objectives.
- Track and report delivery metrics, milestones, financials, resource utilization, risks, and overall project health to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth transition of delivered solutions into production support and operational teams, including knowledge transfer and documentation completion.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to delivery processes, operational efficiency, project governance, and team collaboration.
- Support strategic planning, budgeting, and prioritization activities for Siebel programs and future enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience managing enterprise CRM application delivery projects, preferably within Oracle Siebel environments.
- Strong understanding of Siebel CRM architecture, development lifecycle, integrations, and enterprise application delivery methodologies.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams and managing complex, large-scale technology initiatives.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including experience interacting with executive leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks, and competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with vendor management, contract coordination, and third-party delivery oversight is preferred.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are a plus.
