Job Responsibilities:
The Siebel Application Architect Lead is responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership for the design, architecture, integration, and long-term evolution of the NGD solution environment. This role oversees all architectural activities to ensure the NGD platform is scalable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with organizational business objectives and enterprise technology standards.
The Architect Lead serves as the primary authority for solution architecture decisions, guiding cross-functional teams through complex system integrations, infrastructure enhancements, and application modernization initiatives. This position collaborates closely with business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and project leadership to deliver sustainable and efficient enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the existing NGD ecosystem, including all upstream and downstream integrations, interfaces, data flows, and dependent systems.
- Define, document, and govern the overall architectural vision, technical strategy, design principles, and development standards for the NGD platform.
- Lead and coordinate all application, integration, and infrastructure architecture activities related to NGD implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives.
- Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to design scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions that align with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate existing application and infrastructure environments and recommend improvements, modernization opportunities, and architectural enhancements to optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight to development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure solution designs comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Conduct impact analyses for proposed system changes and provide recommendations regarding technical feasibility, resource requirements, implementation approach, timelines, and budget considerations.
- Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, and technical decision-making processes with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Support risk identification and mitigation activities related to application architecture, integrations, performance, and system dependencies.
- Collaborate with project management and business leadership to align technology solutions with operational priorities and long-term organizational goals.
- Maintain architecture documentation, system diagrams, integration specifications, and technical standards to support ongoing operations and future enhancements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Siebel architecture, enterprise integration, and NGD platform capabilities.
